Every Koala Mattress is designed with a sophisticated base of ergonomic support zones, each tailored to contour the body's natural curves and promote healthier spinal alignment for life-changing sleep. The Koala Mattress features three high-density targeted support zones positioned under the torso, hips, and legs to offer enhanced support where it's most beneficial.

The Koala Mattress also features 17% more Kloudcell® than the Koala SE Mattress, for better support, breathability, responsiveness and durability. The Koala Mattress has been engineered to provide stability under broad surfaces such as your back, but it is flexible enough to support your hips and shoulders in any sleeping style and position.

A double-sided Kloudcell® comfort layer gives you the choice between medium-firm and firm at home. Simply unzip and flip to find your sweet spot.

If you and your partner can’t agree when it comes to bedtime, each side of the mattress can be tailored to individual firmness preferences—half medium-firm, half firm.

The Partner Preference comfort layer can be rotated so your comfort preference is always on your side of the bed. Perfect to bring you closer together (rather than driving you apart)!

Made with high-density foam, Koala mattresses take around 3-5 days to fully expand to their correct shape and feel. However, you can sleep on it right away. It only gets better over time! We also integrate quality materials such as carbon-zero TENCEL™, derived from sustainable wood sources, and recycled fibres, with the aim to reduce our footprint and promote the use of sustainable resources.

Koala Mattresses only use foam that has been CertiPUR-US® certified, meaning it has been tested to meet CertiPUR-US®'s rigorous standards for emissions, content, performance, and durability. The foam in our mattresses is made without harmful phthalates, and they are made without the use of ozone-depleting substances, including methylene chloride and other CFCs. Koala Mattress foam has also been tested to have low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions for indoor air quality (less than 0.5 parts per million).

Choosing the right mattress is only part of the equation. Your bed frame matters too. As long as your old mattress base provides adequate support and ventilation, it will work with any Koala Mattress, including our memory foam mattresses. If you're using a slat base on your old mattress setup, keep the slats no more than 7.5cm apart to ensure proper mattress support.

While posture slats can be used, they may make the mattress feel softer than intended. For the best comfort, especially if you prefer extra firm support, we recommend straight (flat) slats.

We don’t suggest placing your mattress directly on the floor without ventilation, as this can cause moisture build-up. Similarly, adjustable beds aren't ideal, as bending or folding the mattress may damage the core or supportive layers.
