Promotion Terms
We love a bargain just as much as you do. That’s why we run competitions (“Competitions”), offer sales and discounts (“Offers”), and provide access to benefits through referral or bonus programs (“Rewards”) from time to time.
We are Koala AU Operations Pty Ltd (ABN 18 605 237 090), but you can call us Koala. In these Promotion Terms, we also call ourselves “we”, “us” and “our” and we refer to you as… you guessed it, “you” or “your”.
Additional terms may apply to specific Competitions, Offers and Rewards. In case of any inconsistency between such additional terms and the terms on this page, the additional terms will prevail to the extent necessary to resolve the inconsistency. By participating in a Competition, or taking advantage of an Offer or Reward, you are agreeing to these Promotion Terms, our Privacy Policy and any additional terms applicable to that Competition, Offer or Reward.
Competitions
Details of how to enter our Competitions are available at the point of entry or through the forum(s) on which the Competition is being run (such as our social media platforms). You may not be eligible to enter every Competition that we run.
Competitions are open only to people aged 18 or over who reside in Australia. Employees of Koala, their immediate families and other people connected with Koala or competition judges are not eligible to participate.
The Prize for each winner will be as specified in terms applicable to the Competition, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. Prizes remain subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute a prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be substituted or exchanged for any alternative offer.
If you enter any Competition, you agree that we may treat your entry (or entries) in the same way as we treat “Feedback” – please see our Website Terms for further details.

Offers
From time to time, Koala will make offers available for sales or other discounts in connection with the purchase of our products.
Offers are made available subject to terms specified at the time the offer is made. Unless the terms related to the Offer say otherwise, the Offer will be subject to the following conditions:
- Any Koala discount codes that apply to purchases made through our website may not be used in conjunction with any other promotions or other offers, and only one discount code may be used per order.
- If you receive a free or bonus product as part of an Offer, then our 120-night trial period will not apply to these products and they cannot be returned for cash or store credit for change of mind (unless stated in the terms specific to the Offer).
- For the return of any product purchased or received under an Offer, you will only be refunded the amount paid for that product and the offer cannot subsequently be used on any subsequent purchase. Your rights under the consumer guarantees will still apply for these Products though.

If you wish to return any products purchased in connection with an Offer, you will also need to return any free or bonus product received as part of the Offer. For example, if you return a Koala mattress purchased as part of a Koala Pillow ‘gift with purchase’ Offer, you would also need to return the pillow as well.

Boxing Day Sale
The “up to 30% off everything” offer commences at 12:00am AEDT on 19 December 2025, and Koala reserves the right to suspend or end the offer at any time. Valid only for Australian residents. Excludes clearance products, gift cards, delivery charges and assembly services. Discount or dollar saving will be applied off the RRP for products not excluded from the offer. Prices are as displayed. Not valid in conjunction with any other promotion or offer. Offer is subject to change and may be withdrawn at any time. All other Terms of Service continue to apply.
Email Welcome Offer
This offer commences at 9:00am AEDT on 16 January 2025, and Koala reserves the right to suspend or end the offer at any time. While this offer is active, if you are a new customer and agree to receive marketing communications by signing up to Koala’s email mailing list, you will receive a code that entitles you to either a discount or dollar saving off your first order placed through the au.koala.com website.
The discount or dollar saving will be revealed or confirmed in an email that will be sent after you have signed up to Koala’s mailing list. Offer is only available to Australian residents who are new customers to Koala that have not previously made a purchase and have received an email with a code for the discount or dollar saving. Excludes bundles, clearance products, delivery charges, assembly services and the purchase of gift cards. If the code you receive is for: (i) a dollar saving, the amount of that saving will be applied to the cart value where the promotion code is applied at checkout and the total cart value (excluding the value of products that are excluded from the offer) is $1,000 or greater, or (ii) a percentage discount, that discount will be applied off the RRP for products not excluded from the offer where the promotion code is applied at checkout (with a maximum discount of $3,000). The offer can be redeemed only once per person as part of their first transaction. Not valid in conjunction with any sale or other promotion or offer. Offer is subject to change and may be suspended or withdrawn at any time. All other Terms of Service continue to apply.
Bedbuyer Offer
This offer starts at 8:00am AEST on 22 August 2024, and Koala reserves the right to suspend or end the offer at any time. Valid only for Australian residents. Discount will be applied off the RRP for each individual Koala Mattress, Koala Plus Mattress and Koala Luxe Mattress product in one (1) order at checkout where a valid promotion code is entered. Promotion code can be redeemed only once per person. Not valid in conjunction with any sale or other promotion or offer. Offer is subject to change and may be withdrawn at any time. All other Terms of Service continue to apply.
Mattress Quiz Offer
This offer starts at 8:00am AEST on 24 August 2024, and Koala reserves the right to suspend or end the offer at any time. Valid only for Australian residents who have received an email from Koala with the promotion code for this offer after completing Koala’s mattress quiz. Discount will be applied off the RRP for one unit of the mattress product stated in the email when the promotion code is entered at checkout. Code can be redeemed only once per person during the offer period. Not valid in conjunction with any sale or other promotion or offer. Offer is subject to change and may be withdrawn at any time. All other Terms of Service continue to apply.
Influencer Offers
From time to time, Koala partners with certain people or groups on social media platforms (“Influencers”) to make promotion code offers available to their followers. Offers that Koala has agreed with an Influencer to promote on their social media page(s) will be available from the time the Influencer posts the promotion code until the date specified in the post. Valid only for Australian residents. Offer is valid for a $200 reduction on the cart price that will be applied at checkout where the total cart value is $1,500 or greater and a valid promotion code is entered. Promotion code can be redeemed only once per order. This offer does not apply to bundles, delivery charges, assembly services or the purchase of gift cards, and is not valid in conjunction with any other promotion or offer (other than sales promoted on au.koala.com). Offer is subject to change and may be suspended or withdrawn at any time. All other Terms of Service continue to apply.
Koala Commercial Spend and Save Offer
The “Spend and Save” offer starts at 12:00am AEDT on 10 November 2025 and ends at 11:59pm AEDT on 2 December 2025, unless withdrawn earlier or extended. Valid only for Australian residents who are Koala Commercial customers that have logged in to their Commercial Account on au.koala.com after receiving notification of this offer by email. Offer is valid for a reduction in the cart price that will be automatically applied at checkout where the total cart value (including GST, but excluding delivery charges, assembly services and the purchase of gift cards) is $2,500 or greater. If the total cart value is $2,500-$4,999.99, the cart price will be reduced by $125, (ii) $5,000-$9,999.99, the cart price will be reduced by $350, (iii) $10,000-$14,999.99, the cart price will be reduced by $1,000, or (iv) $15,000 or greater, the cart price will be reduced by $2,250. The amount of the cart price reduction is inclusive of any applicable GST. Offer can only be redeemed once per order. Not valid in conjunction with any other promotion or offer (except for Koala’s Black Friday Sale). Offer is subject to change, and may be suspended or withdrawn at any time. All of Koala’s other Terms of Service continue to apply.
Rewards
Our current Rewards are as follows:
'Refer a Friend' Referral Program
Koala’s Refer a Friend Program allows you to share the love with friends and family - when they make their first purchase from Koala, they’ll receive a $200 discount, and you’ll receive a $100 Prezzee Gift Card as a thank-you.
Eligibility
You’ll receive a $100 Prezzee Gift Card for each new customer you refer who:
- Makes their first purchase with Koala, spending at least $750 (excluding delivery charges, assembly services, and gift card purchases); and
- keeps their Koala products for more than 120 days after delivery.
Your friend or family member (the “referee”) will receive a $200 discount on their first Koala purchase over $750 (excluding delivery charges, assembly services, and the purchase of gift cards). The discount will be redeemable for 12 months from issue
How to refer
When you refer someone through our referral page, they’ll receive an email from Koala (powered by Okendo) inviting them to take $200 off their first purchase.
They can redeem this offer by:
- Clicking through your unique referral link,
- Providing their email address, and
- Making their purchase via on our online store
Once their qualifying purchase is complete and our records show that it has not been returned within the 120-day period, Koala’s systems will automatically verify the referral, and you’ll receive your $100 Prezzee Gift Card via the email you included in your referral page.
Limitations
Your friend must be a new customer to Koala, and they must spend $750 or more (excluding delivery, assembly, and gift card purchases) in their first purchase for you to qualify for your reward.
The $200 referee discount cannot be applied retrospectively to purchases already made or combined with any other promotion, offer, or discount code.
Each referrer may earn a maximum of 10 referral rewards.
Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, repeat returns and other fraudulent activity are not permitted. They will be automatically detected by Koala’s systems and the transaction voided.
Prezzee Gift Cards are subject to Prezzee’s own terms and conditions,including expiry and usage limitations. By participating in this program you accept and agree to those terms and conditions.
Compliance & Privacy
Koala complies with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and expects you to as well. You must not provide the email address of any person unless you have their permission for Koala to contact them. Sending unsolicited emails or messages is considered spam and may result in exclusion from the program.
