    FAQs about the Snoozytime Bed Base

    What age is the Bed base suitable for?

    The bed base at its lowest height is suitable for when your child is ready to move out of the cot. The intended age is 3 years.

    The bed can be transformed to the higher height when you feel confident that your child can easily climb out of the bed at that height.

    Can I use a different mattress with the bed base?

    Yes, the bed base is designed to fit any standard Australian single mattress.

    If you are purchasing a Guardrail, the maximum mattress height should be 16cm.

    Are there any toxic or harmful materials used in the lacquer?

    The Snoozytime Bed Base has been thoroughly tested for the presence of volatile organic compounds such as Formaldehyde, Styrene, and Toluene, and meets the Australian Standards.

    Can I use two guardrails?

    Yes, you can use two guardrails, one on each side (please reach out to our Customer Service team for more information on how to purchase an additional guardrail).

    Make sure the guardrails are assembled only at the headboard end of the bed base.

    Can I assemble my bed base without the headboard?

    No, the bed cannot be assembled without the headboard.

    Can I paint or stain the bed base?

    We do not recommend painting the Snoozytime Bed base because it will void the warranty.

    How do I recycle the packaging?

    When you get rid of packaging thoughtfully, not only is it better for the environment, it can be reused to create new products.

    Paper and cardboard (including Honeycomb Cardboard) - Flatten your cardboard boxes or rip them up before placing them in your recycling bin in order to save space. You don’t need to worry about removing any tape or labels from your cardboard boxes. They will be removed in the recycling process.

    If you’re ever unsure, pay a visit to recyclingnearyou.com.au or contact your local council, or take a peek at our blog for some great ideas on how to reuse and recycle the packaging.

    How do I wash the headboard cover?

    Undo the hook and loop tape securing the headboard cover to remove it from the headboard. Turn the cover inside out, and close the hook and loop tape again (to prevent it snagging the fabric during washing).

    The headboard cover can be washed separately or with similar colours on a cold gentle cycle. Do not spot clean, rub, bleach, tumble dry, iron, or dry clean the headboard cover. Line dry it in the shade, and only replace onto the headboard once completely dry.

    Note that pilling can occur occasionally as a result of normal daily use, and should not be considered a fault.

    Can I use the bed base without the headboard cover?

    Yes, you can change up the look of the bed base by removing the headboard cover, to reveal the headboard underneath. Please store your headboard cover in a cool, dry place when not in use, to prevent the build up of moisture.
