How to care for your Outdoor Lounge Set

Metal Components
- Regularly clean metal surface with mild soap, warm water and rinse clean and dry with a clean, soft cloth.
- Particular care must be taken when exposed to a salty environment.
-Do not use abrasive products or chemicals that can scratch the surface.

Plastic Components
- Clean plastic surfaces with a mixture of mild soap and water.
- Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that may damage the material.

Timber Care
- Wipe down the furniture regularly with a damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, and debris. This prevents buildup and maintains the wood's appearance.
- Direct sunlight can cause teak wood to fade over time. Consider placing outdoor furniture in shaded areas or using covers to protect it from prolonged exposure to sunlight.
- To prevent fading and maintaining the natural color of teak from sun, rain, moisture and other factors use teak protector regularly.
- Use Teak Protector only on teak wood to avoid discolouration, and other problems or maintenance-related issues.
- Do not place hot or wet liquids directly on the surface as it may mark the timber.
- To prevent scratches, avoid dragging sharp or heavy objects across the surface of the furniture. Use coasters or felt pads under items to protect the wood from damage.

Fabric Care:
- Regularly brush off dirt and debris from fabric surfaces. Do not scrub with a stiff brush.
- Remove any spills immediately.
- Spot clean stains promptly with a mild detergent and water solution.
- Do not machine wash.
- Use a clean cloth to blot out any excess liquid.
- Do not bleach. Do not soak.
- Allow cushions to dry in a well ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
- Do not iron.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Do not dry clean.

Always ensure seat cushions, fabrics are completely dry before storing.
During prolonged periods of non-use or inclement weather, store cushions and fabric components in a cool dry, ventilated area away from sun or use protective covers.

NOTE: Pre test the cleaning method on a hidden area of the cushion and timber. If there is a change in colour, discontinue use.

      High quality and super comfortable

      I ordered a lounge chair set (2 armchairs and a coffee table) and have been super impressed with the how sturdy they are but also they are perfectly ergonomically designed, very comfortable for tall people like me to sit in. The green colour is a lovely subtle sage green. I think I might have to get a bench now!

      Love it!

      Love this outdoor setting, it is so comfy to sit on even without the cushions. It did take 3 months to arrive, but it did tell me that before purchasing. Easy to put together and although one armchair did arrive damaged, they are sending a replacement.

      Great outdoor lounge

      This is a great outdoor lounge set. It was super easy to assemble and feels really solid and well built. Each item is heavy enough to make it seem unlikely someone will pinch it from our verandah.

      The teak used on the armrests and table panels seems really good quality and tight grained.

      It's also really comfy. The chairs are really roomy and the 3 seater sofa has enough space to lie down and will easily fit 3 people. Cushions are quite thin, but sufficiently comfortable. They can easily be washed down with a hose and don't take long to dry out. No stains have stuck to the cushions yet and seem to wash out with a hose down without much effort.

      Worth the price and will be recommending this set to others.

      The highlight of my home

      I am absolutely obsessed with this furniture. The colour, the comfort, the function are all 10. The arm chairs are wide enough for me to sit cross legged in which is much bigger than average!!

    Can I leave my outdoor furniture outside all year round?

    Some materials can withstand year-round exposure, but it's generally recommended to store furniture during extreme weather conditions. Covers and storage can significantly extend the life of your furniture.

    Can I pressure wash my outdoor furniture?

    We advise against pressure washing your Torakina furniture. Pressure washing can damage the wood and strip away its natural oils.

    Can I re-stain, paint or oil the timber?

    We do not recommend oiling, painting or staining the teak on your outdoor product. Painting or staining the teak will interfere with its natural weather-resistant properties and over-oiling can attract dirt and mildew. If you feel that the teak needs some protection, we suggest looking for teak protector rather than an oil. Please note that oiling, painting or staining the timber may also void your warranty

    How can I remove stains from the timber?

    Avoid using harsh chemicals like bleach or ammonia, instead use a mild detergent solution or a vinegar solution (one part vinegar to three parts water) with a clean, soft cloth to gently scrub the stain away. Make sure to rinse the soap or vinegar solution away after cleaning and allow the furniture to dry completely in a well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight.

    Is it normal for teak to crack or develop splits?

    Yes, cracks and splits in teak are normal and can be caused by changes in moisture and temperature. These cracks are typically superficial and do not affect the durability or structural integrity of the table

    Can I put the cushions in the washing machine?

    Our outdoor range cushions are not made to be machine washed. If you need to clean any spills or stains, please spot clean with a mild detergent and water solution only. Make sure to blot out any excess liquid with a clean cloth and allow to dry away from direct sunlight.

    NOTE: always test your cleaning solution on a hidden spot in case of colour change or transfer
