TENCEL™ is made from sustainably-sourced wood. The process used to create TENCEL™ fibres is eco-friendly, and has won awards for its low environmental impact. The result is a fabric that's more absorbent than cotton, softer than silk and cooler than linen.

How to care for your new Sheet Set

Regular care (weekly)

Machine Washing

  • Pre-wash your natural linens before first use.
  • Separate linens from other items in the wash - especially polyester which tends to create pilling, and items with heavy zippers, which can damage the fabric.
  • Do not overload the washing machine, as it can break down fibres from excessive abrasion and agitation.
  • Wash in cold water with non-chlorine bleach detergent on a gentle cycle with a cold water rinse.

Detergent

  • Use a mild, non-alkaline liquid detergent without added bleach or whiteners as they can also weaken and discolour certain fabric fibres.
  • Do not pour detergent directly on linens. Instead, add it to the water as the wash tub fills or dilute with water, then add linens.
  • We recommend using a eucalyptus based detergent such as wool wash which you can find in your local supermarket.
  • Fabric softener is not recommended for this product.

Stains

  • Clean stains as quickly as possible.
  • Do not strenuously scrub the stain away, we recommend to gently soak, wash or blot it out.

Free metro delivery on any order with a mattress. Regional deliveries are charged per item.

Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane Metro customers can also select premium delivery that includes assembly and rubbish removal on select items at an additional cost.

      This is the second set of Tencel sheets I have purchased from Koala. I had always been someone who only purchased cotton sheets. However, a friend talked me into trying Tencel sheets. As we had already purchased a mattress and sofa bed from Koala, I decided to try their sheets. They have not disappointed. They are dreamy soft and drapey to sleep in and feel very light and cool throughout the night. I couldn't hope for a better sheet to sleep in through summer - thank you Koala !!

      Love the labels on the top and toe ends and the fabric feel

      Love the labels on the top and toe ends and the fabric feel. Almost perfectly fits the mattress,, wrinkling slightly, but that give allow it to more easily be t put on and removed.

      The smoothest and comfortable sheets ever!

      It was time for me to upgrade my bedroom and no better place to start with the bed itself, I had got recommended by a friend to try some Koala sheets. I bought the eucalyptus green colour way and I was blown away when I first opened the box, I made every one in my house feel the quality of the sheets before it even hit my bed, it was so smooth and incredibly good quality and I can confirm I had the best sleep ever that night!

      Sleeping in clouds

      This is my 3rd set of Koala sheets. My son will only wear or sleep on soft fabrics. These sheets are his favourite. He told me his bed is so cosy he may never get up!!

    How do I recycle the packaging?

    When you get rid of packaging thoughtfully not only is it better for the environment, it can be reused to create new products.

    1. Paper and Cardboard (including Honeycomb Cardboard) - Flatten your cardboard boxes or rip them up before placing them in your recycling bin in order to save space. You don’t need to worry about removing any tape or labels from your cardboard boxes. They will be removed in the recycling process.

    2. Soft plastic packaging - Unfortunately there are limited options to recycle soft plastics in your kerbside bins, but you can research recycling services in your area via recyclingnearyou.com.au or contact your local council. If you’d prefer we take your rubbish away and ensure it’s recycled properly, you can opt for our premium delivery service at checkout (if available in your area). This service also includes delivery and assembly in the room of your choice on top of rubbish removal.
