Care

Regular Care (Weekly)

  • Vacuum regularly using low suction.
  • Protect from direct sunlight.

Spot Cleaning

  • Remove any spills immediately.
  • Use a mild detergent to gently remove any loose soiling.
  • Do not scrub with a steel brush.
  • Use a clean cloth to blot out any excess liquid.
  • Avoid over-wetting, as this may result in a water mark.
  • Allow the fabric to dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.

Note: Pretest the cleaning method on a hidden area of the sofa. If color changes or transfers, do not continue.

Pilling

  • Pilling can occur occasionally as a result of normal daily wear and should not be considered a fault.
  • Fibre pills can be removed with a battery-operated pilling tool, available from most haberdashery stores.

We offer same day delivery on furniture and mattress orders in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide (for in-stock products). Delivery is FREE on mattresses and small items and our fast & flexible furniture delivery lets you choose a window that suits you.

Free metro delivery on any order with a mattress. Regional deliveries are charged per item.

Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane Metro customers can also select premium delivery that includes assembly and rubbish removal on select items at an additional cost.

      Comfy sofa, trustworthy company

      This has quickly become our favourite seat in the house! We bought it primarily to have a spare bed, but now my partner and I vie for who gets to sit in it. The quality feels great.

      We had an issue with a previous Koala sofa, and they were so incredible about organising a return that we now have the confidence to always shop Koala as our first choice.

      Super comfy and easy to assemble!

      The sofa bed was quite simple to put together (I did it alone!) and is also easy to pull out to convert into a bed. The double size is true to size and was loved by my guests. The mattress is medium firm which was preferred and the washable covers are a bonus! Delivery was quick too!!

    Even though there are zippers on some covers we don’t recommend removing them to wash.

    What size does the sofa bed fold out to?

    Our sofa bed folds out to a full size single, double and queen mattress, so you or your guests can relax like royalty!

    Do I need tools to assemble my sofa bed?

    No, just like all Koala products, assembly is tool free

    What is the recommended weight capacity?

    We undertake rigorous testing up to a recommended weight limit of 120kg per seat, to make sure our products can handle what life throws at it from almost anyone.

    Can I steam clean my sofa and/or can I get it professionally cleaned?

    We do not recommend that you steam clean your sofa yourself, leave that to the professionals! To make your sofa look like it's brand spanking new again get in touch with a professional upholstery cleaning service. They know the ins and outs and will use the most appropriate method based on the fabric type, its general condition and any specific stains that need to be removed.
