2. Returns are easy. In major metro areas we'll even pick up big items like mattresses, bed bases and sofas for free.

3. For returns, simply disassemble furniture, fold mattresses, and keep original packaging for mattresses and upholstered items.

We offer same day delivery on furniture and mattress orders in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide (for in-stock products). Delivery is FREE on mattresses and small items and our fast & flexible furniture delivery lets you choose a window that suits you.

Free metro delivery on any order with a mattress. Regional deliveries are charged per item.

Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane Metro customers can also select premium delivery that includes assembly and rubbish removal on select items at an additional cost.

Regular care (weekly)

  • Vacuum regularly using low suction.
  • Protect from direct sunlight.

Cleaning

  • Remove any spills immediately.
  • Use a mild detergent to gently remove any loose soilage.
  • Do not scrub with a stiff brush.
  • Use a clean cloth to blot out any excess liquid.
  • Avoid over wetting as this may result in a water mark.
  • Allow the fabric to dry in a well ventilated area away from direct sunlight.

Note: Pretest the cleaning method on a hidden area of the sofa. If change in colour, or transfer do not continue.

      Not bad... but not ideal

      We had just bought the Koala Byron Sofa Bed and I missed having a chaise. We were deciding between this ottoman for the storage and the matching Byron Sofa ottoman. We went for this one although I now wish we got the matching Byron ottoman.

      Why? Because the storage isn't really worth it – it seemed like it would be larger but is quite small. We have a spare blanket in there, but if we try to squeeze 2 blankets the ottoman lid doesn't stay on properly. Also the ottoman is quite hefty, so if you push it from the top the lid falls off, you need to move it from the bottom. I thought it could double as a coffee table, but the top of the ottoman is quite rounded and isn't the right shape to safely balance things on there. The colours don't match our lounge (which I knew when purchasing) and just doesn't have the vibe I was going for unfortunately.

      This is the first purchase I've made from Koala that I'm disappointed with – the quality is great but functionality is lacking for our purpose. I should have gone with the matching Byron ottoman without storage!

    Can you remove the entire ottoman cover or just the seat cushion cover?

    Covers cannot be removed. Please follow the care instructions in the upkeep of the ottoman and you will be able to maintain the new condition of your fabric sofa for many years to come.
