I recently upgraded to the Koala SE mattress and thought I’d share how it’s going so far. After sleeping on my old mattress for years and waking up stiff more often than not, I decided I needed something new — and this one ticks most of the boxes.
What I like
Delivery and setup were easy. It arrived quickly, unboxing was simple and the mattress was ready to use without much fuss.
The comfort level is very good: it hits a nice “medium‑firm” sweet spot for me (I sleep mostly on my back with occasional side sleeps). I noticed my lower back isn’t complaining in the morning as much.
Motion isolation is solid. My partner moves a lot in their sleep and I barely feel it — which is a big plus.
Value for money: it doesn’t carry a luxury price tag but feels like a significant upgrade compared to my previous bed.
Things to be aware of
It is all‑foam, so if you’re someone who overheats easily, be aware this might run a bit warm compared to mattresses with coils or more advanced cooling.
If you’re a super side‑sleeper or someone who wants very soft “sink‑in” comfort, this may feel slightly firmer than you expect.
As with any mattress, give yourself some time to adjust — the first few nights felt slightly different until I got used to it.
Overall
If you’re looking for a reliable mattress that gives you better sleep without breaking the bank, the Koala SE is a smart pick. It delivers on comfort, support and usability. I’m glad I made the switch and would recommend it — especially…
