The comfort behind every Koala mattress – Kloudcell®

Kloudcell® is our signature comfort foam. It’s designed to balance soft cushioning with steady support, help reduce heat build-up, and respond easily as you move through the night.

    Soft and supportive

So you feel cushioned, not stuck

Kloudcell® foam gently cushions pressure points while staying supportive under broader areas like your back and hips, helping keep your body comfortable and aligned across different sleep positions. Its structure is designed to ease pressure at the shoulders, hips and knees without the sag or sink often associated with traditional memory foam.

    Breathable

    So heat doesn’t build up

Kloudcell® allows air to flow through the mattress thanks to its open foam cell structure, helping excess heat escape so you sleep cooler and stay on top of the bed, not stuck in it like traditional memory foam.

It’s tested to be up to 40% cooler to the touch and 30× more breathable than the worst-performing competitor foams.

    Instantly responsive

So movement doesn’t interrupt your sleep

Unlike slow-response memory foam, this fast-responding foam reacts instantly when you move, making it easier to change positions with less disturbance. It absorbs motion at the comfort layer, forming the foundation of our Zero Disturbance® motion reduction.

    Built to last

So comfort holds up over time

Kloudcell® is made with durable, high-density foam designed to hold its shape and comfort over years of use, delivering consistent comfort night after night.

Great Mattress - Soft but Supportive

I originally purchased the 'Koala Calm As Mattress' (I believe it is now the 'Koala Plus Mattress') as one of my first 'adult' purchases. It was a firm but comfortable mattress which I absolutely loved. Fast forward a few years and I decided I would like to upgrade to a larger bed and purchased the Luxe Mattress and the Kirribilli Bedframe in warm ash (which looks so much better in person than in the online photos). The mattress is so comfortable and soft, but your body doesn't sink in deeply and you can still move around easily. I especially like the cooling layer which will be good leading into the warmer weather.

The only thing I can nit-pick is the strong 'new mattress/factory' smell that is produced from the mattress when you first unroll it - which I expected and probably can't be helped. I waited 72 hours before sleeping on the mattress, and had my rooms sliding doors open to allow for the mattress to air out over three days. The strong odour did not dissipate completely until almost two weeks and was quite unpleasant, but now it is completely gone. Since then, no complaints or issues after using it for over a month now.

I highly recommend this mattress; it is honestly the most comfortable mattress I have owned as a repeat Koala customer.

      Luxe mattress

The koala luxe mattress is the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on and I have also had a gel bed before that and this is even better. It was set up within 15 minutes of unpacking it and ready to sleep on.

      Heaven on a cloud

Best decision we have ever made. This king size luxe mattress is perfect for my nursing back. I wake up refreshed and without pain. I get such rested sleep with its lush pillow top. As a shift worker it has made sleep a little easier any time of the day or night . It really is is super comfortable, I never feel my partner moving around , or the dog making it a truly rested and uniterupted sleep . I would highly recommend this to anyone , you won't regret it . It's not to hot as I tend to sleep warm and so that's a real bonus for me. We both love it and so does our pooch.

      Extremely comfortable

Absolutely love this mattress. It’s really comfortable and supportive without feeling too firm, and I’ve been sleeping so well on it. It feels really good quality and was easy to set up too. I’m genuinely so happy with it and would definitely recommend it.

      Luxe to the max

I purchased the koala luxe for my husband and myself about 6 months ago! I was nervous buying without trying first, but it was well worth it! Far superior to our previous mattress, super comfy and soft. Easy to unload and the delivery schedule on time. I have purchased another for our daughter.
