How to care for your new Bedside Table

  • Do not place hot objects directly onto the surface of the plywood.

  • Treat spills as soon as possible, wipe down with clean dry cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cloths, concentrated detergents, or silicon based wood polishes.

      Love these bedside tables

      I ordered these bedside tables in the morning and they arrived by the afternoon – such impressive service! No assembly was needed, which was a huge bonus. I absolutely love the minimal and sophisticated design, they complement my bed perfectly and complete the space. The wood grain has a beautiful colour, and I couldn’t be more rapt! Thank you Koala!

      Love it

      This is a great buy- it has a lovely, clean aesthetic. So pleased to find something like this that isn't a flat pack! Delivery was smooth, and the item was well packaged for transit, with quality packing materials- nice to see this attention to detail. I'll definitely be looking to buy additional Koala products in the near future.

      Worth noting that the drawer is a little sticky as per other reviews, but I note that there is an instruction manual included on how to adjust it, which I assume is intended to mitigate the issue. It doesn't bother me enough to need to attend to it. Otherwise I think it is really nicely constructed.

    No it comes fully assembled, just remove it from the box.

    The weight limit for the drawer is 7.5kgs evenly distributed.

    Is the koala bed side environmentally friendly?

    We only work with traceable timber sources to ensure that our timber is not coming from places subject to deforestation.

    Why is there so much packaging and how do I dispose of the packaging?

    In order for us to be able to send the bedside fully assembled all over the country, sometimes for 100s of kms at a time, we have to be sure it can withstand a few bumps and knocks along the way. We try to make sure all the packaging can be disposed or recyled easly enough. All the card board can be cut down and put into you local council bins.

    Care instructions

    Veneer is a natural wood product, when properly cared for, it will last long and keep looking beautiful.

    Normal Cleaning

    – Dust regularly with a soft slightly damp, lint-free cloth.

    – Dry with a soft cloth in the direction of the wood grain.

    – Spills should be immediately wiped up with a soft dry cloth.

    – If you have stubborn dirt, clean the surface with a soft cloth dampened in mild soapy water in the direction of the wood grain. Wipe Dry with a soft-lint free cloth.

    Avoid aerosol-powered cleaners or polishes, polishes containing waxes or abrasives, or polishes that are oil based. Avoid direct sunlight, as this will cause colour change. If the furniture is in direct sunlight, move items like vases around to avoid spotting.

    Our timber veneer and plywood is not designed for use outdoors.
