Sofa Bed

We cannot recommend this sofa bed to anyone who intends to use it as a sofa. The seat has a slight forward tilt even under ideal conditions (see pictures), which is uncomfortable. When people sit on the sofa, the tilt becomes worse and worse as the sofa bed slides apart, losing its shape and making comfort even worse as you gradually slide forward onto the

floor. Every hour or so, the sofa needs to be reset to its original position to provide more comfortable seating, but it is never 100% comfortable as the forward tilt persists and worsens if anybody is

sitting on the couch even for a moment. This has been true for all members of our household and all guests who have sat on the sofa.

We enjoy using the sofa bed in bed mode - no complaints there. The compact 1.5-person size works well in our small space. For this reason we don't give the sofa bed one star, but it cannot score higher than

two because in its primary function - a sofa - this product is not usable.

1) My sofa bed arrived two months after I ordered it. Ok, so it took a long time.

2) It arrived in HUGE boxes, and there is no pickup service for these boxes, so I now have boxes in my house the size of a pantry, and no way to dispose of them.

3) The sofa bed has a fault in the fabric on the seating, it is loose and permanently wrinkled.

4) Calling Koala to get support for the above, I waited on the phone for around 45 minutes and then it cut off.

5) I submitted a request to address the fabric issue, and it is two weeks later and so far nothing has happened, nobody has responded. The person I reported it to said "Well you do have two months to get this sorted out."

So far the service is very very poor at Koala, and the product is less than good. This review is my next attempt to get them to do something about it.
