How to care for your new Lounging Sofa Ottoman

Regular Care (Weekly)

  • Vacuum regularly using low suction.

  • Spot clean as required.
  • Shampoo clean using upholstery shampoo.
  • Do not use dishwashing or laundry detergents.
  • Do not wet filling.
  • Do not scrub with a stiff brush.
  • Dry in shade away from direct heat. Allow to dry thoroughly before reuse.

Pilling

  • Pilling can occur occasionally as a result of normal daily wear and should
    not be considered a fault.
  • Fibre pills can be removed with a battery operated pilling tool, available from most haberdashery stores.

      More grey than khaki

      We bought the lounging 3 seater 2 seater and ottoman. Very happy with the quality and comfort of couch’s and Ottoman however was disappointed with the colour we ordered khaki and honestly it looks more of a grey with a green tinge to it, other than the colour we are very happy.

      Disappointed in fabric - 1 year on

      We have had the three seater sofa and ottamon since Feb 2020. They’re both very comfortable and we love napping on the sofa, but I’ve been really disappointed in how the fabric has held up. It’s peeled quite badly now, and the fabric has stretched so that the couch looks saggy most of the time and you have to try and tuck the excess fabric in the sides for it to look nice and be smooth.

      Great product - Need to change delivery services

      The product is really good, it has quality and is really comfortable. Is perfect for big and small living rooms. The Dark Navy color matches with wood and metal furniture. The only problem that I had was with delivery, because of the TNT services it took more time for the sofa + ottoman arrive at my door. All sorted, thanks to the lovely customer service people from Koala.

      Lounging Ottoman

      Love the ottoman! We have a small living room so it’s great to rearrange for people to sit on or rest our feet up!

      Also love the colour, just a dash of green.

    I purchased a Lounging Sofa Ottoman a while ago, will the removable covers work with it?

    The removable covers are not designed to fit Lounging Sofa Ottomans purchased before 29th May 2023.

    Can you remove the cover of the ottoman?

    We have designed the Lounging Sofa ottoman with ease of care in mind. The cover is removable and can be cold washed at home. The cover has detailed care instructions. We recommend not to warm or hot wash as this can cause excess shrinkage.

    Any other tips to keep my ottoman looking fresh?

    We understand the lives of our customers are very hectic, therefore we have created a durable, hard-wearing fabric that will live with you. But just like you, it likes to feel looked after, like having a date night once a week.

    Once a week you should make sure you vacuum your ottoman. This will help remove excess dirt, fibres or pet hair. By vacuuming, you'll reduce the risk of pilling - stopping those pesky fibres from getting the chance to mingle.

    If you have pets, a lint brush or roller will help to keep your fabric looking brand new. Sometimes hair can get trapped between the fabric threads and a lint brush will remove this straight away.

    Over time and with use, you may notice the fabric puddling on the ottoman. Simply, use your hand in a brush like motion will remove them.
