How to care for your new Kirribilli TV Unit

Regular Care (Weekly)

  • Dust surface with a dry cloth or duster in the direction of the natural grain.
  • Protect from direct sunlight.
  • Do not place hot or wet objects directly into the surface of the shelves.
  • Do not put liquids directly onto the shelves, use coasters.

Cleaning

  • Treat spills as soon as possible, wipe down with clean dry cloth.
  • Do not use Harsh Chemicals on the surface to clean.
  • Do not use abrasive cloths, concentrated detergents, silicon based wood polishes.

Safety Information

  • Do not sit or stand on the product
  • Do not use it as a step ladder
  • Do not use the product unless all gumnuts are firmly secured
  • Only use on even surfaces
  • Failure to follow these warnings could result in serious injury

      Tv unit

      Great tv unit that fits my space. The furniture is heavy and stable with good size to fit consoles or boardgames and things. The assembly was quick and easy as well which was great.

      Good options for cable mounting on the back if you wanted to take that option.

    How do I prevent the unit from tipping over?
    • Anchor the Product to the wall. If a TV is placed on top of the unit, then anchor the TV to the wall too. Remember to check anchors regularly.
    • Always place heavy items and anything that appeals to children on lower shelves.
      Do not allow children to climb the product.

    How do I clean my TV Unit?

    Veneer is a natural material and, when properly cared for, will maintain is beauty for years to come

    Regular Cleaning

    • Dust weekly with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Dry with a soft cloth in the direction of the wood grain.
    • Spills should be immediately wiped up with a soft dry cloth.
    • If you have stubborn dirt, clean the surface with a soft cloth dampened in mild soapy water in the direction of the wood grain. Wipe Dry with a soft-lint free cloth.

    Avoid aerosol-powered cleaners or polishes, polishes containing waxes or abrasives, or polishes that are oil based.

    Avoid direct sunlight, as this will cause colour change. If the furniture is in direct sunlight, move items like vases around to avoid spotting.
    Our timber veneer and plywood is not designed for use outdoors.
