How to care for your new Joey Bed Base

Regular Care for bed (Weekly)

  • Dust surface with a dry cloth or duster in the direction of the natural grain.
  • Protect from direct sunlight.
  • Do not place hot or wet objects directly onto the surface.

Care for headboard cover

  • Wash inside out with velcro fastened closed to prevent snagging.
  • Cold gentle wash on delicate cycle with similar colours.
  • Do not Bleach.
  • Do not spot clean.
  • Do not rub.
  • Do not tumble dry.
  • Do not iron.
  • Line dry in the shade.
  • Pilling can occur in daily use and should not be considered as a fault.

Like our products, our packaging is built with imagination in mind. Our boxes are designed to be re-used and repurposed so we create less waste. This box can be repurposed for imaginative play, or flattened and torn up to be placed in your recycling bin.

    Timeless timber bed base that grows as they grow

    Built with little ones in mind, this beautiful convertible bed base is designed with easily-adjustable legs to follow along with your child’s development. Pair it with removable guard rails on one or both sides to deter even the wriggliest little one from rolling out.

    They grow up so fast. This bed base does too.

    Our bed comes with two height options to take your kid from the floor to the ‘big bed’. The lower leg height is best suited for the transition out of the cot. When you’re ready for them to take it up a notch, simply unscrew the leg extensions from the inside of the bed rail and add them to each bed leg.

    Detachable Guard Rails for extra peace of mind

    Sideways, upside down, bum up — every kid sleeps differently. Ensure every sleep is a safe one with optional, removable curved-corner Guard Rails that are strong enough to keep the little sleepers safe from rolling out and your mind rested at night.

    Keep comfy during storytime with a removable, machine-washable upholstered cover that offers something a little softer to lean against. The timber frame beneath features a painted detail that elevates the design and offers an alternative look.

      Looks great and feels sturdy

      Great bed and really easy to set up. Being able to change the legs from a ground bed to a big kid bed will prolong the use. The simplistic design makes it great to match the existing room decor. The colour matches white walls or a natural aesthetic in your room. The removable cover is great to allow washing when required.

      Loving it

      My little one is excited to have a big kids' bed, and I'm happy that it's low to the ground. It's a beautiful bed with comforting colours.

      The bed base was easy to assemble, however it can come apart when moving it around. At least it's easy enough to fix.

      It would be nice to have some cushioning on the edges, or to have the mattress flush on top, and a softer headboard too (the fabric cover is a nice addition, but a foam insert would make it perfect).

      Overall very happy with the purchase.
