      Great barrier protector

      Over the years I have used and tried many mattress protectors, some promising comfyness, some easy installation, some that won't move with straps and magnets. But none come close to the experience and quality of the great barrier protector from Koala, fits absolutely perfect to the mattress, no creases or lines, no matter what you do this protector stays on and on well. Initially getting the bottom half on can be tricky but once on ,joining the 2 halves is a breeze and leaves you well satisfied!!

      Perfect

      I love it…perfect fit, perfect feel and no bulkiness. Also makes changing the sheets so much easier and most importantly it protects my lovely mattress.

      BUT… putting it on was a nightmare and didn’t come with any instructions. Getting the bottom half under a heavy queen size mattress was challenging to put it politely.

      5 stars is for the end result not the frustration to achieve it.

      Well fitted protection

      The fit is perfect, it doesn't move at all once it's on. There is a slight texture change I can feel, especially through thin sheets, but that is to be expected from water resistant material.

    Is the mattress protector waterproof?

    When the protector is fully fitted over your mattress, the protector provides a water resistant barrier, so you don't need to worry if you spill liquids on the protector, our clever TPU backing helps prevent the liquid from seeping through to the mattress.

    I have spilt liquid on the protector, what do I do?

    The liquid will mainly pool on top of the protector. If there are liquid droplets sitting on top of the protector, it is best to soak the excess liquid off the top by using a cloth or tissue to soak up the extra liquid droplets. Once this has been done, you can unzip the top layer of the protector and wash this in the washing machine before refitting back on the bed.

    How do I take the protector off to wash it?

    The protector is really easy to take off to wash. Find the zipper and unzip this all the way round. The top section of the protector will completely unzip from the bottom. This mean it is really easy to take it off and wash it. Once the top layer has been washed and is fully dry, you can easily zip this back on to the bottom layer. This means you don't have to struggle to take the bottom layer off every time you need to wash it. If you wish to wash the bottom layer as well, unzip the top layer fully off, then you can carefully pull the bottom layer out from underneath your mattress.
