How to care for your new Byron Sofa Bed

Regular care (weekly)

  • Vacuum regularly using low suction.
  • Protect from direct sunlight.

Spot cleaning

  • Remove any spills immediately.
  • Use a mild detergent to gently remove any loose soilage.
  • Do not scrub with a stiff brush.
  • Use a clean cloth to blot out any excess liquid.
  • Avoid over wetting as this may result in a watermark.
  • Allow the fabric to dry in a well ventilated area away from direct sunlight.

Note: Pretest the cleaning method on a hidden area of the sofa.
If change in colour, or transfer do not continue.

Pilling

  • Pilling can occur occasionally as a result of normal daily wear and should not be considered a fault.
  • Fiber pills can be removed with a battery operated pilling tool, available from most
    haberdashery stores.

      very comfy

      very easy to put together once you work it out. I did it by myself.

      The couch is very comfy, as is the mattress. It is solid and well made.

      I didn't find the written instructions until I opened the last box and was replaying the instructional video over and over.

      So perhaps highlighting where the written instructions would be a good idea.

      Lounging around.

      Love this lounge. I got the pale blue which is a lovely colour. Friends have slept on it over Christmas and said it’s very comfortable. I would recommend this lounge.

    I have just opened my Sofa Bed cushion and it is out of shape/thin/wrinkled

    The mattress comes compressed for ease of transport and to reduce packaging. Once opened, you're able to sleep on it right away but we recommend allowing the sofa mattress to settle and recover for a minimum of 72 hours for it to reach it's full potential!

    Are the Sofa Bed covers removable?

    Even though there are zippers on some covers we don’t recommend removing them to wash.
    Instead, we recommend spot cleaning any nasty spills.

    Will my Sofa Bed seating/ sleeping comfort change over time?

    With any new sofa, the seating and the foam will soften the first few months of regular use before it stabilises. This is normal and should not be considered a fault.

    Similarly, if you curl up or sit on one part of the seat cushion more often, it will will soften more than areas less used. As the foam softens and the sofa is used, it is normal for fabric the crease or wrinkle and this can be easily maintained.
