How to care for your new Byron Sofa Bed

Regular care (weekly)

  • Vacuum regularly using low suction.
  • Protect from direct sunlight.

Spot cleaning

  • Remove any spills immediately.
  • Use a mild detergent to gently remove any loose soilage.
  • Do not scrub with a stiff brush.
  • Use a clean cloth to blot out any excess liquid.
  • Avoid over wetting as this may result in a watermark.
  • Allow the fabric to dry in a well ventilated area away from direct sunlight.

Note: Pretest the cleaning method on a hidden area of the sofa.
If change in colour, or transfer do not continue.

Pilling

  • Pilling can occur occasionally as a result of normal daily wear and should not be considered a fault.
  • Fiber pills can be removed with a battery operated pilling tool, available from most
    haberdashery stores.

      Sturdy and comfortable

      We spent a long time looking for a sofa bed that looked stylish and didn't have squeaky, springy steel frames 🥴 This was perfect as the mattress just unfolds out to a full queen, and is on a steel base that slides out. The armrests are as high as the backrest, so we do have to prop more cushions in the corner to get comfy. It's still a great purchase, highly recommend it!

      Top class sofabed-My Go-To for Comfort & Style

      After using the Koala Byron Sofa Bed, I can confidently say it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made. It’s super comfy whether I’m lounging or sleeping, and the switch from sofa to bed is seamless. The design fits perfectly with my space, and the quality is top-notch.       Exceeds expectations and looks great

      Bought the couch to replace a mattress in the spare room and it is super comfy and easy to assemble. Nice and firm which is what I was after and great for arvo naps. Lots of packaging came with it making it hard to dispose but to be expected.

    I have just opened my Sofa Bed cushion and it is out of shape/thin/wrinkled

    The mattress comes compressed for ease of transport and to reduce packaging. Once opened, you're able to sleep on it right away but we recommend allowing the sofa mattress to settle and recover for a minimum of 72 hours for it to reach it's full potential!

    Are the Sofa Bed covers removable?

    Even though there are zippers on some covers we don’t recommend removing them to wash.
    Instead, we recommend spot cleaning any nasty spills.

    Will my Sofa Bed seating/ sleeping comfort change over time?

    With any new sofa, the seating and the foam will soften the first few months of regular use before it stabilises. This is normal and should not be considered a fault.

    Similarly, if you curl up or sit on one part of the seat cushion more often, it will will soften more than areas less used. As the foam softens and the sofa is used, it is normal for fabric the crease or wrinkle and this can be easily maintained.
