Most smartphones manufactured after 2017 support Qi wireless charging and are compatible with the Balmain Bedroom Storage range. To check that your smartphone is compatible with Qi charging devices, head to your smartphone manufacturer’s website or consult the user manual for your smartphone.

How to get the best charging experience
To ensure efficient charging, position your smartphone directly over the wireless charging glass tab. Try repositioning your smartphone if the wireless charger does not connect the first time.

Protect and care

How to care for your new Balmain Bedside Table


Regular Care (Weekly)

  • Dust surface with a dry cloth or duster in the direction of the natural grain.
  • Protect from direct sunlight.
  • Do not place hot or wet objects directly on the surface of the Bedside Table.
  • Do not put liquids directly onto the shelves, use coasters.

Cleaning

  • Treat spills as soon as possible, wipe down with clean dry cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cloths, concentrated detergents, silicon based wood polishes.

Safety Information

  • Avoid placing heavy items or child appealing items like toys on top of the unit.
  • Do not allow children to climb on the furniture.
  • Do not open more than one drawer at a time.
  • Be aware that uneven or soft floor surfaces can affect furniture stability.
  • Weight Limit for each drawer is 5kgs evenly distributed.
  • Periodically check and tighten the gumnuts and legs on your Bedside Table.

    Is the wireless charger compatible with all smartphones?

    Most smartphones support Qi wireless charging and are compatible with the Balmain Bedroom Storage range. If you are unsure, check your phone's user manual or head to your phone manufacturer's website for more details.

    How long will it take to charge my phone?

    Different phones have different charging rates and using a phone case will slow down the charging process.

    What is the length of the wire for the wireless charger?

    Length of wire is 80cm

    What is the weight limit for all the drawers ?

    The weight limit for each standard Balmain storage drawer is 10 kgs evenly distributed. The weight limit for the stash drawer in the Balmain Chest of Drawers is 5 kgs evenly distributed.

    Why is my wireless charger not working?

    Your phone case thickness and material may affect the charging performance, if you are experiencing issues, try removing the case before charging.

    Do not use phone cases with metal surrounding the phone and be sure that there are no metal or magnetic objects, coins or bank cards obstructing the phone and charging surface.

    Check that the wireless charger is properly plugged in and the power source is on
    Still not working? Try using another Qi-compatible phone (without a case) and test it to see if the problem lies with your phone or its case
