How to care for your new Byron Sofa Bed

Regular care (weekly)

  • Vacuum regularly using low suction.
  • Protect from direct sunlight.

Spot cleaning

  • Remove any spills immediately.
  • Use a mild detergent to gently remove any loose soilage.
  • Do not scrub with a stiff brush.
  • Use a clean cloth to blot out any excess liquid.
  • Avoid over wetting as this may result in a watermark.
  • Allow the fabric to dry in a well ventilated area away from direct sunlight.

Note: Pretest the cleaning method on a hidden area of the sofa.
If change in colour, or transfer do not continue.

Pilling

  • Pilling can occur occasionally as a result of normal daily wear and should not be considered a fault.
  • Fiber pills can be removed with a battery operated pilling tool, available from most
    haberdashery stores.

      Exceptional quality

      Cannot believe how well this product is made and the sturdy construction and presentation. I’m a property stylist/interior designer so I’ve seen a lot of furniture in my time and I’ve never seen such attention to detail with packaging and quality of craftsmanship in an item at an affordable range like this. We love our guests Byron sofa bed!!

      The Byron is the best

      We bought a Byron sofa couch and it’s unreal. We have literally been sleeping on it every day now for a good month and it’s been great. So comfy and so easy to set up/ pack down, literally under 2 minutes. Love our Koala Byron sofa bed!

      Looks bloody amazing in the space, really good build quality and fabric

      It's sturdy and quite rigid in terms of seating, so don't expect to fall into it but that's what I prefer in a couch. It's just soft enough on the behind to feel comfortable but you can easily stay propped up and awake for a movie sesh.

      Fabric wise it's nice and taut too, though it does crease when you sit on it but seems to reset after a couple hours. How long this lasts for is a mystery for now like anything...

      The bed is not the same as the Cushy Sofa Bed which I tried first and then swapped out for this one because it was too small for me, it's not a full on mattress instead this sort of half height mattress thing that is still comfortable enough for the occasional sleep. This the Byron definitely has more presence and a grown up feel about it, than the Cushy Sofa as well.

      We purchased our blush Byron and it has lived up to the hype. We have had a few guests stay in it already and have commented on how comfortable it is. Best thing is it looks contemporary and is easy to put together.

    I have just opened my Sofa Bed cushion and it is out of shape/thin/wrinkled

    The mattress comes compressed for ease of transport and to reduce packaging. Once opened, you're able to sleep on it right away but we recommend allowing the sofa mattress to settle and recover for a minimum of 72 hours for it to reach it's full potential!

    Are the Sofa Bed covers removable?

    Even though there are zippers on some covers we don’t recommend removing them to wash.
    Instead, we recommend spot cleaning any nasty spills.

    Spot cleaning:

    Will my Sofa Bed seating/ sleeping comfort change over time?

    With any new sofa, the seating and the foam will soften the first few months of regular use before it stabilises. This is normal and should not be considered a fault.

    Similarly, if you curl up or sit on one part of the seat cushion more often, it will will soften more than areas less used. As the foam softens and the sofa is used, it is normal for fabric the crease or wrinkle and this can be easily maintained.
