Protect & Care

How to care for your new Bangalow Modular Ottoman

Regular Care (Weekly)

  • Vacuum regularly using low suction
  • Protect from direct sunlight

Cleaning

  • See inside covers for additional cleaning instructions

Frame & Arms

  • Spot clean as required
  • Remove any spills immediately
  • Use a mild detergent to gently clean any stains
  • Use a clean cloth to blot out any excess liquid
  • Avoid over wetting as this may result in a water mark
  • Allow the fabric to dry in a well ventilated area away from direct sunlight

Note: Pretest the cleaning method on a hidden area of the sofa. If change in colour, or transfer do not continue.

Pilling

  • Pilling can occur occasionally as a result of normal daily wear and should not be considered a fault
  • Fibre pills can be carefully removed with a battery operated pilling tool, available from most haberdashery stores

We offer same day delivery on furniture and mattress orders in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide (for in-stock products). Delivery is FREE on mattresses and small items and our fast & flexible furniture delivery lets you choose a window that suits you.

Free metro delivery on any order with a mattress. Regional deliveries are charged per item.

Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane Metro customers can also select premium delivery that includes assembly and rubbish removal on select items at an additional cost.

      Love the Bangalow Large Ottoman!

      The large is the perfect size with the 3 seater couch, great for putting your feet up but also looks good with a tray and styling as a coffee table. The Green Wattle is the perfect shade of green for us too.

      Great couch made better with the ottoman.

      The ottoman is super comfy and a great addition to the couch. It’s great to be able to choose which side to have the ottoman in different rentals when using it as a chaise. Easily fits with the couch and the fabric is comfy to lie on.

    Can I remove the covers?

    We've designed our Bangalow to be super easy to care for. All the covers are removable and can be cold washed at home. And each cover comes with detailed care instructions. We recommend not to warm or hot wash as this can cause excess shrinkage. No one likes shrinkage!

    Can a Bangalow Ottoman be connected to the Bangalow Modular Sofa?

    While the Bangalow Ottoman is not designed for direct connection to the modular sofa, they are versatile and can be placed alongside your seating arrangement for added comfort and convenience.

    My covers came unassembled, is this normal?

    Yes, the covers are designed to be added separately for ease of use and washing. Each cover will need to be put on as part of the assembly.
