Modular sofas arrive one box per section
On the modular ranges the widest thing coming through your door is a single seat module, not the whole sofa, which is why a five metre corner can still get up a Sydney terrace staircase. Measure your narrowest doorway and your tightest stair turn before you order. A standard Australian internal door is 82 cm.

The range

The modular ranges configure the same way: choose a shape, a section count, and where offered, regular or extra wide sections. Lounging and Suffolk come in fixed sizes, so with those the only question is which size clears your wall.

How to get the numbers above.
Measure the wall, not the room
Run the tape along the wall the sofa will sit against, skirting to skirting. Note anything that eats into it: a heater, a door swing, the edge of a bay window.
Measure straight out from that wall
To the opposite wall, or to whatever the sofa will face. That number decides whether you get a coffee table, a walkway, or both.
Leave room to walk
Aim for about 75 cm of clear walkway on a main route through the room, and roughly 45 cm between the sofa and a coffee table. The finder above holds both back for you.

How the fit numbers work. Footprints shown as a plain number come from Koala's published dimensions. Footprints with a dotted underline are calculated from the published base configuration plus the section width for that range, and are a close guide rather than a guarantee. Measure before you order, and use the 120 day trial if the size is not right.
Walking space. 150 cm or more in front of the sofa leaves room for a coffee table and a walkway. 90 cm to 149 cm leaves one or the other. 60 cm to 89 cm is a walkway only. Under 60 cm is treated as not workable and the configuration is moved out of your results.
