How to care for your new Cushy Sofa Bed

Regular care (weekly)

  • Vacuum regularly using low suction.
  • Protect from direct sunlight.

Spot cleaning

  • Remove any spills immediately.
  • Use a mild detergent to gently remove any loose soilage.
  • Do not scrub with a steel brush.
  • Use a clean cloth to blot out any excess liquid.
  • Avoid over wetting as this may result in a water mark.
  • Allow the fabric to dry in a well ventilated area away from direct sunlight.

Note: Pretest the cleaning method on a hidden area of the sofa. If change
in colour, or transfer do not continue.

Pilling

  • Pilling can occur occasionally as a result of normal daily wear and should
    not be considered a fault.
  • Fibre pills can be removed with a battery operated pilling tool, available
    from most haberdashery stores.

      Cushy sofa bed

      Recently I purchased 2 cushy sofa bed chairs and love love love. Relatively easy to assemble on own, super comfy and looks amazing. Delivered on time and follow up communication excellent. Highly recommend if needing to utilise space and wanting comfort with a modern twist.

      It’s the best!

      It has changed my spare Room into the most useful room - so much better than when it just contained a double bed occasionally used by visitors. It is now an extra sitting room to sit and sew orbread a book in the afternoon sun. Should have done it years ago!!

      Stylish and comfortable

      I love my new Koala Cushy 2.5-seater sofa bed! The design is stylish and fits perfectly in my home. The luxe boucle fabric in penguin parade is heavenly. I've been using the Cushy as my main sofa, and it's cosy, roomy, supportive and comfy. It's easy to convert to sofa mode, and my guests said they slept soundly on it overnight.

    Are the covers removable?

    Even though there are zippers on some covers we don’t recommend removing them to wash.

    What size does the sofa bed fold out to?

    Our sofa bed folds out to a full size single, double and queen mattress, so you or your guests can relax like royalty!

    Do I need tools to assemble my sofa bed?

    No, just like all Koala products, assembly is tool free

    What is the recommended weight capacity?

    We undertake rigorous testing up to a recommended weight limit of 120kg per seat, to make sure our products can handle what life throws at it from almost anyone.

    Can I steam clean my sofa and/or can I get it professionally cleaned?

    We do not recommend that you steam clean your sofa yourself, leave that to the professionals! To make your sofa look like it's brand spanking new again get in touch with a professional upholstery cleaning service. They know the ins and outs and will use the most appropriate method based on the fabric type, its general condition and any specific stains that need to be removed.
