Inspired by a life on the land, the Koala Beauty Bottler Rug is hand woven. The dark colour-way is easy to clean making it great for pets and families. Plus, with a soft 100% rPET yarn made from recycled bottles, this rug proudly eases our eco footprint.

How to care for your new Beauty Bottler Rug

Always use a rug protector, to be placed under the entire rug (trimmed to size) to protect your floor and rug.

The rug has arrives folded for ease of transport. When you open the rug, it will have a few fold marks. These folds will drop out over time, normally it will take a few weeks.

Regular care

  • Regular airing is recommended.
  • Vacuum the rug on low suction or shake to remove dust.
  • Vacuum rug regularly at least once or twice a week depending on foot traffic, to avoid dirt getting deep into the fibres.
  • Rotate the rug regularly.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals/bleach as they may damage or fade the rug colour.
  • Keep away from fire and direct heat sources.
  • Must be completely dry before storing away to prevent mould/mildew.
  • Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight.

Spot clean stains

Attend to the stains immediately. Do not rub or use paper towels to absorb. Scrap off any solids with a knife or spoon carefully.

We offer same day delivery on furniture and mattress orders in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide (for in-stock products). Delivery is FREE on mattresses and small items and our fast & flexible furniture delivery lets you choose a window that suits you.

Free metro delivery on any order with a mattress. Regional deliveries are charged per item.

Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane Metro customers can also select premium delivery that includes assembly and rubbish removal on select items at an additional cost.

      Terrible quality control. So many

      Terrible quality control. So many really obvious flaws in stitching given the pattern. Had to be refunded as unusable. Strongly suggest avoid this product.

      I have enjoyed this rug,

      I have enjoyed this rug, it sticks to the floor for anti-slip and doesn’t move even with the vacuum cleaner going over it. It’s great for protecting the hard floors from my office chair

    How often should I get my rug cleaned?

    Wool rugs require a professional clean every 1-3yrs, Frequency depends on the level of activity and how often are stains removed, properly vacuumed.

    Jute and Jute blended rugs —vacuum regularly or dust when required. These rugs should not be wet cleaned.

    Our Jute and Jute blended rugs are made from Jute which is a durable colour that can withstand high traffic areas and has minimal shedding, good for homes with pets, though not 100% pet proof.

    Recycled Polyester rugs
    The tufted colours are made using recycled plastic bottles, so for every rug made, it means less waste going into landfill. These rugs are easy to care for and extremely versatile.

    Can I put my rug under the furniture?

    Yes, however due to the rugs being handmade, care must be taken to rotate the rug occasionally. Avoid placing a chair with castor wheels e.g. an office chair, as it can get caught in the weave and damage the rug.
