    A sleep that’s better for you and the planet

    It’s a good sleep, made of good stuff. The core of the Koala Pillow [2nd Gen] contains foam with 16 % bio-based content derived from soybean oil. Even better, the winter-side fabric is made using the equivalent of four recycled 500 ml PET bottles – diverted from landfill and spun into soft, supportive fibres.  Better in than out, we reckon.

    What are PolarBands™?

    PolarBands™ are an innovative cooling technology that are designed to remove excess body heat in order to achieve a naturally comfortable temperature. Highly thermally conductive PolarBands™ are embedded in the Summer side layer of your Pillow [2nd Gen], around the centre of the pillow, in order to conduct heat away from the places where it usually accumulates.

    How do I wash my new Koala pillow?

    Remove the outer cover from the foam core before washing. Do not wash the foam core. Wash the cover with like colours on a cold gentle cycle, turning it inside out and closing the zippers before popping it into your machine. Make sure not to bleach, soak, rub, or wring out the pillow cover, and do not tumble dry, iron, or dry clean it. Make sure to line dry your pillow cover in the shade. Once the cover is completely dry, you can replace it back onto the core, matching the "Summer" and "Winter" labels to ensure the cover goes back on in the correct orientation.

    How long will the pillow last?

    To keep your Koala Pillow [2nd Gen] looking sharp, you do need to ensure you also look after it as per our recommendations and care label instructions.

    Here are a few tips for how to best care for your new Koala Pillow:

    As the pillow has a removable cover, you can wash this in the machine on a gentle cold cycle
    Allow to dry thoroughly before using again
    Dry in shade away from direct sunlight
    Do not soak, wring, rub or tumble dry
    Do not machine wash the foam core
    Do not dry clean or iron the cover
