How to care for your new Cushy Sofa Bed

Regular care (weekly)

  • Vacuum regularly using low suction.
  • Protect from direct sunlight.

Spot cleaning

  • Remove any spills immediately.
  • Use a mild detergent to gently remove any loose soilage.
  • Do not scrub with a steel brush.
  • Use a clean cloth to blot out any excess liquid.
  • Avoid over wetting as this may result in a water mark.
  • Allow the fabric to dry in a well ventilated area away from direct sunlight.

Note: Pretest the cleaning method on a hidden area of the sofa. If change
in colour, or transfer do not continue.

Pilling

  • Pilling can occur occasionally as a result of normal daily wear and should
    not be considered a fault.
  • Fibre pills can be removed with a battery operated pilling tool, available
    from most haberdashery stores.

      Comfort matters

      This was recommended from our Son and our daughter, one has this same sofa, one purchased a king bed.

      The sofa is comfortable, looks great and the colour is modern. It's used as a spare room lounge to sit in peace, then turned into a sofa bed when the kids come stay overnight. It's 100% improvement on sofa beds.

      Cushy sofa bed

      Very comfy and fits the space well. Very good it comes in flatpacks as it makes install very easy, we couldn't fit any other options into our place so its a life saver!

      Great purchase and exactly as seen on the website!

      We purchased this sofa bed for our nursery/spare bedroom. It’s a perfect size and we love the colour - it’s exactly as the pictures look!

      Only comment I would make is the bed appears to be a bit too firm.

      Overall great purchase, easy to put together and very happy with how it looks.

      Super comfortable as couch and bed. Easy assemble- one person, no tools. Next day delivery in four easy boxes to get into the room. Colour and feel of fabric is really nice. Would recommend! Love it.

      Love the Cushy! So easy to fold out, no awful bar in the middle of your back, takes two seconds to do. Super comfy and I love how compact it is with fine arms rather than chonky ones - perfect for what we needed in a relatively small space.

    Are the covers removable?

    Even though there are zippers on some covers we don’t recommend removing them to wash.

    What size does the sofa bed fold out to?

    Our sofa bed folds out to a full size single, double and queen mattress, so you or your guests can relax like royalty!

    Do I need tools to assemble my sofa bed?

    No, just like all Koala products, assembly is tool free

    What is the recommended weight capacity?

    We undertake rigorous testing up to a recommended weight limit of 120kg per seat, to make sure our products can handle what life throws at it from almost anyone.

    Can I steam clean my sofa and/or can I get it professionally cleaned?

    We do not recommend that you steam clean your sofa yourself, leave that to the professionals! To make your sofa look like it's brand spanking new again get in touch with a professional upholstery cleaning service. They know the ins and outs and will use the most appropriate method based on the fabric type, its general condition and any specific stains that need to be removed.
