    Standard delivery

    The best option if you need your furniture delivered fast. Standard delivery is recommended for smaller items that you can carry and assemble yourself.

    Delivers to: Australia-wide

    Services:

    • Delivered to your front door
    • Choose a specific date & time for your delivery (due to size, some products are only available with an all day delivery window)
    • Saturday morning delivery for an additional $70
    • If you're not home, we'll leave your order in a safe place

    Room service

    Opt for Room service if you would like your order delivered to a specific room in your home. Perfect for large orders like Sofa Beds and large size mattresses

    Premium service

    Enjoy your new purchase without needing to lift a finger. We'll deliver to your room of choice, as well as take care of the assembly, rubbish removal recycling.

    Delivers to: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth

    Services:

    • Delivered to your room of choice in your home
    • Assembly of all ordered furniture and mattress items
    • Removal of all packaging for responsible recycling
    • Does not include old furniture removal

Fast & flexible delivery

All mattresses come free of delivery charge.

For orders in metro areas (Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth), any order that includes a mattress will get free standard delivery for the full order.

For metro areas, order before 3pm on weekdays for same day delivery.


Please note the same day delivery service is only available when your product/s is currently in stock, not on pre-sale and is subject to availability. Different rates apply when you select premium delivery.

If you need to make a change to your delivery location, date & time - we’ve got you covered. Koala offers a completely hassle-free way to make not only update your delivery date & time, but also update your contact & address details to your order before they’ve shipped.

    Weekend metro delivery

    Saturday delivery is available for an additional $70 flat charge when you select standard delivery. Saturday delivery is not currently available for our premium delivery service.

    Free small item delivery

    Delivery is FREE for all small items (bedding, linen, cushions & throws) when you select standard delivery.

    Regional and rural areas

    It takes us a bit longer to reach you, so you'll receive your delivery in 10-15 business days. The good news is, the closer you are to one of our fulfilment centres (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth), the sooner you'll receive your order.

Frequently asked questions

If I return my furniture product under the 120 day trial, will I get a refund on the delivery fee I paid?

Standard delivery fees are no longer refunded, as they help to cover the cost of getting your order to you. However, you will still receive a full refund of the purchase price for any returned products under our 120 day trial.

For orders placed prior to 3 March, 2025, you will still be eligible for a refund of the standard delivery fees if you return a product in your order during the 120 day trial.

If I order a small item only, when will I receive my delivery?

Small items when ordered on their own (including bedding, bed linen and pillows) will be delivered FREE across metro areas.  Please check your delivery date estimate at checkout. Order with a mattress or furniture item to unlock our free 4-hour or same day delivery service in metro areas of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth on weekdays. 

If I have a warranty issue with my product, will I have to pay for the return delivery fee?

We assess all warranty claims on a case by case basis to make sure every claim is handled fairly. We will not charge you a return delivery fee if we deem that the appropriate measure. Additionally, we will not ask you to pay for the delivery fee for any replacement product either.

If I am paying for delivery, can I receive my product quicker?

We currently deliver within 1-15 business days to most regional and rural areas which is pretty speedy (especially compared to other furniture retailers). We’re passionate about delivering the best service to our customers so we’ll continue to figure out easier and quicker delivery options.

Can I pay more for express delivery?

Given the sheer size of Australia, it can take a bit of time to get to the hard to reach places so the best we can do at the moment for regional and rural deliveries is 1-15 business days. If a better, faster method comes up, we’ll be just as keen as you to make it an available option.

It is saying I am ‘regional’ but I consider myself ‘metro’, who dictates these categorisations?

We calculate our delivery charges on how much our delivery partners charge us and this is based on the distances from a city centre. In most, if not all, cases we do not pass the full delivery cost onto our customers. However, in instances where it’s really costly, we kindly ask for a little help in getting our furniture out to you.

Why are delivery charges different for metro and regional/rural areas?

In light of rising fuel charges across the market, we have changed our delivery pricing so that we can continue to serve most affected areas.
